Yusuf Şenel

Chairman of the Board​

 

Yusuf Şenel, born in Kahramanmaraş in 1979, has carried out his educaiton and business life together since his early ages. Mr. Şenel graduated from Bolu Mimar İzzet Baysal Technical and Industrial Vocational High School. Although Mr. Şenel started his univertsity education in Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University’s Textile Engineering Department, he saw the opportunities in business life and quit university and started working. After managerial experiences in various sectors, he established his own business. Mr. Şenel has served since the establishment of Naturel Yenilenebilir Enerji Ticaret A.Ş., which started its operations in 2009 and brought it to this day by taking over all the shares of the company in 2012. Mr. Şenel is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Naturel Holding Group companies operating in various sectors.

 

Hasan Sarıçiçek

Acting General Manager

Hasan Sarıçiçek has been working as the Chief Strategy and Investment Officer of Naturel Holding since 2022. He actively participates in the restructuring and transformation efforts initiated to ensure the conglomeration of Naturel Holding, and to become one of the most important climate tech companies in Turkey and the world. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of Sustain-Tech Venture Capital Investment Trust, a corporate VC under the holding company. Before joining Naturel Holding, Mr. Sarıçiçek held various roles in audit, consulting, and restructuring at PwC, Deloitte and KPMG. He later served as deputy general manager in companies such as NEC MENA, Kardemir and KEY Holding. Hasan Sarıçiçek graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University. He also holds a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Finance from Marmara University. In addition, he has received several certificates from institutions such as Cornell University and Columbia University.

 

Tolgay BENDERLİ

Member of Board 

He was born on December 5, 1975, in İzmir. He completed his undergraduate education at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Hydrogeological Engineering, and earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the London College of Management. In the early years of his professional career, he worked in infrastructure construction as well as in the energy sector, undertaking project and field engineering roles, site management, and project management for hydroelectric and geothermal power plants involving electricity generation and regional heating systems. In the following period, he continued his career in executive roles at companies operating in the energy, construction, and industrial sectors. Simultaneously, he served on the boards of various non-governmental organizations and took part in several legislative and regulatory commissions related to the energy sector, including the Turkish Grand National Assembly's Industry, Trade and Energy Commission, State Planning Organization Development Plans, the Electricity Market Law, the Mining Law, the Law on the Utilization of Renewable Energy Resources for the Purpose of Electricity Generation, and the Law on Geothermal Resources and Natural Mineral Waters. He has successfully led business development, production, contracting, project/investment financing, mergers and acquisitions, and operational processes of many turnkey investments and projects related to the production, transmission, and distribution of electricity and thermal energy — primarily in Turkey, as well as in the Turkic Republics, the Gulf Region, and the European Union countries. Most recently, he held positions as a Board Member, CEO, and Vice Chairman of the Board at Doğan Geothermal Group of Companies, which operates in the energy, construction, industrial, and tourism sectors. He currently continues to serve as a Board Member at Naturel Yenilenebilir Enerji and Margün Enerji.

Selma Dikmen

Member of Board

She was born on February 27, 1969, in Eskişehir. She graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1991, and from Gazi University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Accounting and Finance in 1998. In the same year, she obtained her license as a Certified Public Accountant. She has served as an accounting manager within various companies. She holds independent audit licenses from both the Public Oversight Authority and the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB). She is a mother of two children.

 

 

Mehmet ARPACI

Independent Board Member

Mehmet Arpacı was born in 1974 in Ankara, where he also completed his primary and secondary education. He earned his bachelor's degree in International Business with top honors from Eckerd College in Florida, USA. He later received his MBA from Florida Metropolitan University, specializing in Marketing, Organization, and International Business Management. Arpacı began his professional career in the energy and real estate sectors, holding various managerial positions. He served as Marketing Manager at Bilmer A.Ş., and from 2002 to 2010, he held key roles at Çalık Holding as Procurement Manager and Energy Trading Coordinator. Leveraging his extensive knowledge and leadership in the energy sector, he became the founding president of the Global Energy Foundation, an important initiative for the industry. In 2010, Arpacı was appointed General Manager of Atakule Real Estate Investment Company (REIC), where he managed all operations of the company. Under his strategic vision and innovative approach, Atakule REIC achieved a strong position in the real estate sector. As of January 1, 2022, he continues to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board at Atakule REIC. Additionally, following the general assembly held on March 23, 2023, he was appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors at Çemtaş Steel Machinery Industry and Trade Inc., one of Turkey’s largest industrial enterprises. On March 18, 2025, he also joined the Board of Directors of Bursa Beton A.Ş., the largest ready-mixed concrete producer in Bursa. The company plays a significant role in the city’s urban development by supplying high-quality concrete for strategic projects. As of May 26, 2025, he has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors at Naturel Yenilenebilir Enerji and Margün Enerji Joint Stock Companies. Fluent in English, Mehmet Arpacı is an enthusiast of classic sports and cycling, a passionate reader, a football fan, and an amateur nature photographer. He is married with three children and places great importance on family life alongside his professional achievements.

 

Çiğdem Dilek

Independent Board Member

Born in 1977 in Şanlıurfa, Çiğdem Dilek, who graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law, is a lawyer. She completed her master's degree in Economic Law at Başkent University. Additionally, she received training in European Union Law at the London School of Economics for a period of 1 year in London. Lawyer Çiğdem Dilek continues her work primarily in energy law, as well as in commercial law, corporate law, construction law, trademark and patent law, and administrative law. Fluent in English, Çiğdem Dilek has represented numerous domestic and international companies and public institutions as a lawyer to date. Lawyer Çiğdem Dilek is the founding chair of the Ankara Bar Association Energy Law Commission. She is currently a Board Member of the Solar Energy Investors Association and the OSTIM Energy Cluster, as well as the Chair of the Ethics Committee at GÜNDER. Çiğdem Dilek also teaches courses on energy law, environmental law, and energy efficiency at various universities and private educational institutions. She has also provided training on Energy Performance Contracts to employees of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources as part of a World Bank Project.
